To work towards establishing solar energy as a primary source of electricity for all commercial and residential properties throughout the US. Allan has been a driving force in renewable energy and conservation for decades. As the first president and founding member of American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), Allan began to raise awareness of alternative methods to sustain families, businesses and the economy. In recent years Allan helped with the formation of the Michigan Energy Fair, a premier event in Michigan that teaches the average homeowner about conservation, renewable energy systems and bio-fuels as well as how to make the important changes in their lives and to reduce energy costs in the 21st century. As a small business person, Allan calls on his experience to help lead new dealers to success as they develop and expand their business models into the renewable energy field. Recognized by the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council in the 2016 Michigan Energy Innovators Hall Of Fame.
